As a software development engineer, you will be responsible for implementing various features and improving the stability of our application. This opportunity is suitable for a technical & product-aware engineer, who will define the future architecture of our platform, providing technical and product expertise.
Duties & Responsibilities
· You will influence how we build individual features and products, and bring in best practices and patterns that can be used for engineering lifecycle for Web discipline
· You will take ownership of our continued efforts to scale web app development across Engineering, providing valuable insight on how we can refine our processes and tools to support additional contributors in our architecture and code
· Drive feature development for our well-renowned apps for web and living room devices, like smart TVs
· Collaborate with other team members, designers and stakeholders to deliver on the features.
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
· 8-10 years of experience building production software systems
· You are an expert JavaScript developer
· Hands-on experience with React framework
· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git
· Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt or Gulp
· Logical thinker attitude with strong problem solving and analytical ability to apply your mathematical, algorithmic and other expertise to solve real problems
· Highly enthusiasm and enjoy learning new technologies and frameworks
· Expertise in customer-facing application development in a high-scale environment
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English)
· Open source contribution is a plus.
