We’re looking for an Senior Data Analyst for one of the TOP streaming platforms. Option to work in a full remote setting if preferred, or in an office in Prague.
About the Team
Data Analytics team plays a key role in the client´s product and business. The purpose is to help the company enable new opportunities, measure the business healthiness, and provide a data-driven solution to the problems, including but not limited to ads, recommendations, subs, search and watch experience areas. The team consists of talents from the top universities and companies around the world.
In addition to working with excellent colleagues, you will strengthen your technical skills, broaden your vision, deepen your understanding of OTT business, and grow even faster.
Your Key Responsibilities
· Key contributor of continuous improvements in user growth and ads growth at the client.
· Gather, clean, transform data and identify the key factors that drive user and ads growth.
· Propose solutions/strategies to tech/product/business team to accelerate the user and ads growth.
· Work closely with other researchers and product teams to identify the data analysis requirements related to ads, recommendations, social, etc.
· Design and implement solutions by leveraging big data technology.
· Convey the recommendations to the stakeholders by creating reports to facilitate their decision-making.
· Build high standard of data analysis and advocate data-driven culture company-wide.
What to Bring
· Bachelor or Master degree.
· 8-10 years of industry experience of data analytics.
· Strong mathematics and statistics background. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experiences in statistics, data analysis, big data processing and parallel computing frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark. Experience with Python, Python + EMR, SQL, Redash, Amplitude.
· Logical thinker with strong problem solving and analytical ability to apply your mathematical, algorithmic and other expertise to solve real problems.
· Past experience with streaming is a plus.
· Experience with NLP and Search is a plus.
· Ability to master new technology quickly and apply to solve practical problems.
· Passion for exploring data insights and new technology, open to interdisciplinary work.
· Participated in at least 2 team projects and played a leader role to drive the projects with others.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English).
